I am very satisfied with the price and then I saved money buying it online. I was able to pick it up the day I bought it so it saved me all the hassle of waiting to put my truck back together. My wife and I have our own vehicles so it is always a bummer when we are one down for any period of time. I took the truck to a mechanic to have it installed due to my work schedule, but it was only 3 hours worth of labor so I cannot complain. The part has been replaced for a week and it has been running beautifully.

Picture matched compressor on truck but compressor sent had another style clutch. Compressor worked fine. Consult another source to verify correct amount of oil to add to compressor. Also check warranty information on additional parts to install for warranty to be valid.

Says a perfect fit for an 86 Ford F250 with the 351. Condensor is about 1/2" too wide so it won't get close to the mounting holes. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, took the original condensor and it went right back in. Problem is you don't know if it will fit until the front of the truck is apart - what a mess! Gave it a 1 rating because it wouldn't take a 0

This was a good product at a great price. It was easy to install. Bought the accumulator to go with it. Little tight to get to but worth the effort to replace the whole system. Replaced the liquid line with orifice tube as well. Charge took about 3 cans of freon and the system was good. Added oil to both compressor and accumulator hooked it all back up and everything is running fine. If you have not already join speed perks. Great discount codes for online orders. You can get great parts and save a lot of money

I bought this for a 2001 Ford f150 replacement. The hose on the accumulator was about an inch or so shorter than the factory original. I was able to connect it to the evaporator but it was in such a bind that it leaked at the connection. I replaced the o-rings but it continued to leak. I will have to find one that has the same size hose as the factory part.

Went out twice in two years, advance auto parts warrantied once (three months after original purchase) but not now due to their sketchy "lifetime warranty requirements". Funny how they warrantied once but not now. I will no longer shop at advance due to their lack of professional customer service.

This accumulator is not the same dimensions as the OEM part, and as said in other reviews, the brackets do not match up. It's also made out of aluminum and is easy to cross thread.

According the parts description, this accumulator is an exact fit for my '95 Y-Code F-150 Super Cab. Well, it works, but it is not an exact fit. This unit is shorter and slightly larger in diameter that the factory original. The pipe / hose connections thread up as intended, but the corner brackets landed a good 1/2" above the existing speed nuts built into the evaporator core box. I was able to rotate the accumulator slightly CCW on the evaporator discharge pipe and get the opposite bracket to bolt up, but remaining bracket would not bolt up. I had to use a longer screw to ensure the top, circumference bracket was secured around the unit. Did not require master mechanic skills; just patience and some problem solving. It meets the needs, and likely will outlast my 325K mile partner in crime.

Bought for a 1996 Ford F350 gas pick up truck. The top mounting bracket had to be bent out of the way to install this accumulator. The threads opposite the low pressure input on the accumulator are made out of a malleable metal that cross threads easily. Granted the nut was rather rusty and hard to take off the old accumulator, but I was careful when trying to line it up with the new one and it still cross threaded. This resulted in a leak after applying R134a to the newly evacuated system. I will probably have to put the old accumulator back on now; a real waste of money.

One month after I installed this model compressor there was a leak coming from the compressor. Advance replaced the unit and gave me new freon and oil. Second unit developed a leak only 11 months later but I was told that it was out of warranty. Now I am stuck having to buy another compressor out of pocket. Not to mention having to replace a compressor for the third time.
