Was getting intermittent oil light at low idle. Lots of oil spray around the pan and pulleys. Old switch had developed a leak and was worn out after 233k miles. Fairly common for these to go bad after high miles. Beware there are two shaft width sides. Had to remove mine and compare at the store, it was 3/8 inch. Fixed all my dash light problems and no more oil spray under from the switch!

This is the only part available for my vehicle and engine, and the power connector is not identical to the OEM part. The plastic ribs don't line up so I cannot click the connector into place. I thought it was connected but now my pile pressure light stays on. How can something this big be a problem with the only part that is supposed to fit my car?
