I am sold on iridium spark plugs since I had a intake manifold crack a water port and fill the cylinders with Antifreeze. After taking the plugs out, blowing out the cylinders changing oil etc. after the manifold was replaced the car still would not start. I re cleaned and dried stock plugs and even replaced every other one with used but good dry plugs. No help, engine would not hit a lick. I replaced the plugs with a set of Iridium plugs and it fired right up. I've ran iridium plugs in all my vehicles, motorcycles, boats since.

Actually purchased to use as an extension for my cylinder air pressure hose. The spark plug threads on the 2.3L SOHC Ford motor are at the bottom of the hole and my hose would not go that deep being it has both 14mm and 18mm plug threads. The 18mm threads prevented the hose from reaching far enough into the hole for the 14mm threads to catch. By cutting off the 5/8" nut at the top of the non fouler I was able to thread it onto my hose and pressurize the cylinder and change my valve seals. Worked perfectly at a fraction of the cost of what a hose extension would have cost me.

These spark plugs work well in my 2011 Ford Focus. They are replacements to the original ITR5F13 that was in the engine when I bought the car. They last a very long time (100K miles), so I enjoy buying these.
