    This product might might work on an application where your NV3500 has less than 100,000 miles. I tried it on my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 and it was about 1/8"+ shorter than the original OE switch. This meant that the rail inside my transmission didn't make contact with the button that activates the switch when you put the tranny in reverse. Buy with caution

    Perfect fit for my 2003 cummins. We changed bulbs and my reverse lights still didn't work, changed this part and now one works, next step is to change the tail light circuit board on the side that isnt working.
