I purchased the manifold to replace one that had a huge rust hole. However the first Dorman manifold (from another supplier)had some severe quality control issues (blow holes in casting filled in with exhaust putty) Thankfully, Advance had one on the shelf and at a much beter price than my regular supplier. I only wish it came with mounting studs, nuts and bolts kit to the cylinder head.

Fast shipping with same day, all pieces present and accounted for. Mostly good condition. The gasket got bent in the box the way it was just thrown in there. The baggy the bolts were in was sliced open on the bottom and pieces fell out so I suggest double checking the box. Delivery guy was nice. I also do not agree with sending it inside a huge box with extra paper when it's in its own small box. What a waste of cardboard/paper/trees.

I experienced the same issue installing this that others have. I had to hit the heat shield with a hammer to make it fit... 3 months later, the blowback port cover and bolts loosened so much the cover and bolts were lost. To repair I had to remove the exhaust manifold. I returned the "defective" manifold and installed a new one. a few months later, the same issue occurred, this time I caught it and was able to save one bolt and the cover plate. Applied new bolts, high temp lock-tight, and reinstalled. again, a few months later the same issue; This time I bought muffler cement, filled the hole, applied the cover plate and bolts, added more lock-tight and then covered the bolts with the muffler cement. Today, I am about to replace this exhaust manifiold for the 4th fime and guess what? I wont be buying from advanced. Total time spent at least 24 hours...it should have been repaired the first time...

This thing is a piece of junk. Enough said. Don't buy it unless you like to waste your time grinding, putting it on and taking it back off to grind over and over until it fits. Would give 0 stars if I could. This has turned a one day job into 3.

I tried to install this on a 02 Jeep Wrangler what a nightmare it has been 3 days later my jeep is still not back together and no idea what to do. I had to beat the heat shield around because it was crooked and interferes almost all around it. Once I finally have it in place the bolt holes are off and I can't get the last bolt in.. this product is garbage

Poorly cast manifold. Ports had to be cleaned up with a dremel. Heat shield not even a close fit. Not deep enough to fit around manifold and stud holes off by 1/8 inch.
