This is my second time buying these brake pads for my Silverado crew cab 1500. They are correctly sized and come with the stainless steel caliber shims too. They lasted 65,000 miles and I tow an atv trailer and enclose trailer often. The pads are quiet from the start no noise at all and are worth the cost. I will buy again

2018 4wd 1500 Silverado. Clips are not the same as original equipment. Installed easy but rattle like a stack of plates on bumpy roads now. I can physically move the pad around in the caliper by hand. Way too sloppy of a fit.

I have never bought the "Professional Platinum" pads before and never will again. I have never had to grind more material off a pad just to get it to fit. And yes, the brackets were clean of scaly rust and the clips were installed properly. Not my first rodeo changing out some pads and rotors. Love paying more and getting less in return....

Installed on my 2001 Silverado. As per description, exact fit. Installation went well. My kit included the required slide plates, but no lub. I reused my original calipers but did install with new rotors. After breakin and about 30 miles, everything is working properly- smooth stopping and no noises yet.

Had these brake pads installed and they just would not stop squealing. I literally tried EVERYTHING. I used the proper EMP lube for the pads and fresh hardware. I even cleaned the brackets and calipers. I eventually changed the rotors even though they were new because I thought the rotors were bad and the cause of the issue. I didn't want to blame these brake pads because the rating was so good. I changed the brake pads after 3 months of torture and embarrassment to my ears. I put in the cheapest Wearever brake pads and ALL MY NOISE went away. WOW. I contacted Wagner to see what happened. I couldn't believe it. I tried to NOT blame Wagner but the proof was in the pudding. Sorry Wagner, but I kept your SX785 in the rear. Maybe the QC line was the issue. Might try SX line in the Front one day.

i pull around 4000 lb trailer load most of the time i use this truck, good stopping power but a lot of dust 650 mile trip down to Pigeon Forge from West Virginia and back, hills, traffic. no pedal fade or brake noise

I've been using this tool for a couple years now. I found it on the display Shelf with a battery so I was able to test it out. I purchased it immediately for full price I liked it so much. I would have gotten the one with the rotating handle as well if it were ever stocked. Once you get accustomed to how sensitive it is, it's really great to use. It's intended for the lighter duty, more exacting work. It has a surprising amount of power for an 8 volt system, and the lock up for using it as a screwdriver is excellent. If I find it in stock again, or the other version, I'm going to buy it so I can have one on the truck and in my shop. I would like to see more tools that use the 8 volt line for jobs that are in tight spaces and require a light touch to not damage the internal components. Tools like these allow me to use exactly what is needed for jobs instead of trying to use one tool that may work, but only just OK.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Installation was fine. I paid extra for these ceramic pads and my wheels turn black every other day. I have never had a set of pads that made such a mess.. Not sure if they were boxed incorrectly or what. Used these pads many times in the past never a problem. Figured I would go back to them.. I have so much break dust that the white letters on my brand new tires are turning black when it rains.. Something went wrong somewhere because this is not the product I remember. I shouldn't have to wipe my wheels down every two days.

Out if the box they look like they're quality and made well. When installing then they were so tight on the sliders I had to file them down to be able to fit at all. This took a long time was a real pain. Once in they were perfect. Great stopping power super quiet. 3 star install 5 star performance.
