As the title states, there was no need to "make it fit". If I didn't know better, it was a factory part.

Worked and fit perfectly. No leaks. Much improved design, in my opinion.

Ford will tell you to buy a whole new radiator if you break the petcock. I installed this with success on my 2015 Focus ST. It is very close in size to the original petcock. Give it a try before you buy a whole new radiator!

It showed that it didn't fit my 2011 Dodge Caliber. It looked the same and I took a chance as it was needed ASAP. It fit exactly like oem. Also about 20 bucks cheaper than the mopar one I found online. It's been in about 3 weeks with no issues at all.

Advertised to fit a 2003 Honda Element. Does not fit. Thread pitch, o-ring, and center shaft size are all wrong for this application.

If you have a GM vehicle with the plastic drain plug this is what you need, appears to be built better and does a great job sealing.

didn't seal, I tightened it as much as I dared. I had to cut and shape a rubber washer from a garden hose to get it to finally seal. I still gave it some stars because perhaps the hole on the radiator was distorted somehow but it looked and felt fine. I think the rubber washer just needed to be a little softer compound to take the shape needed, it was pretty hard, almost like plastic. We'll see if the make shift washer holds up to the radiator heat.

I bought two of these to more easily drain an engine block when doing a coolant flush/change. On one of the drains, the wing nut for opening and closing the valve broke free and just spins rendering it useless.

Handle not well crimped new. It'll fail soon. At least it has a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, I'll have to use it!

I have bought three or four of these. The result is always the same - the ears that are meant to open the valve separate from the valve and then you have no way to empty the fluid except to remove the entire assembly which is always very messy. C'mon Dorman, you can do better than this.
