had to wire brush and paint as the backing plate was extremely rusted, i almost didnt except it! once painted and installed it seems to function perfect!

the fit was excellent, bolted right up no problems with core return either. problems started yesterday... 1st rain we had in a while and it came down in buckets! now, of course i tested the wipers after i installed it but it was dry and after a couple of swipes all looked good. however, yesterday like i said it started pouring out. 15 miles from home and just started to get dark. the wipers did a couple of swipes and quit! halfway through there travel. so with the switch still on i reached out into drenching rain and pushed on the wiper arm and slooowly they started to do there job but like at half speed and quit again. the only thing i had going for me is i rain-exed the windshield after i put the motor on and while still dangerous finally made it home. so it looks like i'm spending my saturday removing,returning and doing the job all over again.

This product would normally be rated as great, but instead it receives a 2. Why? Because after I got it bolted down, the second I plugged it in my wipers went straight to the up position and parked there. I hit the switch, they ran then again parked straight up. Whoever handled it at the factory left the motor 180° out from park, undoubtedly because they thought they were being funny. It was LITERALLY EXACTLY 180° OUT! There's no way that was unintentional. I really loved doing the job twice in 30° weather. Thanks for the opportunity!
