      I was not being completely fair and accurate on my prior review of this product. It would have worked om my car had I taken the time to assess it better. All I needed to do was break off the mount tab at the break line of the part. Also, the connector ends are screw tight type. You just cut and strip the wires at the old solenoid, unscrew the connectors on the new part and assemble. It works.

      While I am sure this product has its uses, it did not fit in my 1990 Pontiac Grand Am. The mount is completely different. The major problem for me of course, was I could not tell this before getting the side cover off of the trans, on a Sat.afternoon. Had to do the job twice. Always do your homework!
