I didn't even know that I had the wrong battery in the car until I bought the right one. The Advanced Auto website gave me the right battery right away and its been great ever since.

This Battery is fine. If you drive a Mercedes GLK this is the wrong size. I know it is listed but trust me you need a H7

Bought 2 of these batteries and both are junk. Wont stay charged at all. Put them on the charger, topped them off to 100% left them alone for a day and come back to find them both at 75%. Put them in my trucks and if they sit for a couple days the trucks barely turn over to start. Both trucks are newer and only 4 years old

I put this battery into my 2017 Kia Sorento LX in Dec 2019 and seemingly had no issues for the rest of the winter season and subsequent spring, summer and fall. This winter, starting the beginning of Feb 2021, my car has failed to start due to no charge in my battery. Manual jumping by other cars or battery packs don't work. I've had to have my car towed twice already, due to the inability to start the car. No issues with starter, alternator, etc. Just the battery not being charged enough or not at all. This occurs anywhere from 10°F to -20°F as I live in SE MN. All the shop has concluded with is battery issues. Will be attempting to get a replacement from AAP, but from what I see, they don't cover my tow and labor costs incurred from these incidents. In total, my car has failed to start on its own 7 times so far this season and I'm definitely not impressed.

The Arizona heat kills regular batteries. I got to where I was replacing them almost every year. I decided to get this Optima yellow top back in 2014, and when it finally started to decline in 2017, it was still under the 3 year warranty and was replaced under warranty. Well, the second battery just started to decline and it's a couple of months past the 3 year warranty this time. I just bought another one to keep my truck battery going strong for another 3 years. Something else to note... when these yellow top Optima batteries are at the end of their use, they still have enough power to start the engine. Unlike other batteries, these won't leave you stranded with a battery that won't start the engine.

I replaced a perfectly fine AGM battery purchased a year ago with the Yellowtop DH6, feeling a bit uneasy about dropping hundreds of dollars on a battery again while my current one was well within warranty and tests confirmed it was working as advertised. I knew I was going to soon find out if I made a foolish mistake and bought into the hype before doing adequate research, or had actually diagnosed the situation accurately and made a wise or lucky choice to address a problem that would have soon become much worse. The signs of trouble presented on two mornings where my car appeared to be lifeless.. Not a single light on the dash appeared, not one ding to be heard, jump starting proved fruitless, and the battery barely a single volt of life left to it. Less than a few weeks after a complete and full eight cycle charge from my noco 5 smart charger, it happened again, and I could no longer ignore it. My best guess of what happened was the aftermarket security and sound system i installed, featuring three separate Alpine amps, over 1 mile range of two way bluetooth and rf remote communications and commands had pushed the envelope a smidge to far. It reached a tipping point and would never sustain that equipment over the majority of days my car sits in a public parking garage losing life without anywhere near enough use to save it before it would invariably spiral back down to that black hole faster and harder than each time before. I've had the dh6 for a few months now, and fingers crossed, but it has performed exactly as advertised. My Carlink app confirms that the battery stays at 12.5v after sitting for days upon days. The previous battery was dropping to 11.5v after two days. It powers everything without showing any signs of struggle, recovers like a football player on HGH, and provides the piece of mind that it is designed to bounce back after the type of full drain that would be a death blow to any non deep cycle batt. Time will tell, but looks to be real deal

Bought this battery for my Jeep Wrangler JK 2016. The battery failed in less than 60 days. I had a mechanic verify that the battery was bad. After a confirm diagnostic it was confirmed it would need to be a full replacement. I couldn't believe it. My first time buying an Optima and it will be my last. Advance Auto Parts refunded a 100% of my money after I showed them the diagnostic information that the battery had failed and needed to be replaced.
