I've installed these twice on my 2012 Chevy Avalanche. Original equipment lasted about 24k miles. I installed these without incident and they worked great. Much improved stopping power. Trouble is after 17K miles they wore out. I bought another set and again 17K miles and they wore out. I just installed Platinum Professional pads & rotors. We'll see how they do. I really don't like paying out all this money and doing brake jobs every 17k miles.

Bought the pads and rotors. Everything about the purchase through Advanced Auto was fine and I would (and have) used them again. Had the pads and rotors professionally installed and performed the recommended break-in procedure. Looks great. Braking performance is fine. That is why they get three stats, as braking is the most important part. Had to retrain my foot to prevent whiplash. Problem is the noise. They squeak like crazy when cool or damp. I am waking up the neighbors when I leave for work in the morning. Sent e-mails to Power Stop customer service on 17, 26, and 29 Sep 2018. No response. Spoke to Power Stop customer service, but they couldn't do anything for me without my invoice number. The invoice number on my invoice was not the invoice number they were looking for. Checkmate. I plan to pursue the 90 day warranty, but assuming that goes well, will still be out the initial installation cost and replacement installation cost.
