It works. Unknown for how long, because 2013 Hondas' electrical system is subject to fail for many reasons. No complaints from mechanic who installed it, and provided old core, (that looked identical to new core). I hope it lasts the warranty period at least.

I bought this starter it lasted six months it failed I need my money back for this part it cost me time money if I new I wouldn't have bought it I just would have done oem parts

After sweating my tail off in 90+ degree heat installing this on my wife's car I was unpleasantly surprised when I went to start the car and all I got was a click. Tried a couple more times followed by a few choice words before I got out of the car and smacked the **** out of it with a hammer. And what do you know it fired right up. Not about once every couple of days my wife texts me to tell me her car won't start again so I will be swapping it out again this weekend in 90+ degree weather. Guess I should have expected no less from AAP.
