This part was from the same manufacturer as OEM. The only difference was the shield on the pulley bearing and the washer that holds the pulley in. I removed the old conical washer from the factory unit and put it on the replacement. The washer is designed to keep more dust & debris out of the bearing. I had to remove the pulley bolt to get access to the rear bolt anyway so it was no big deal. Has lifetime warranty so its the last tensioner I have to buy for this car.

This part is listed to fit a 2007-2015 honda civic 1.8. The support in the back is too thick and you will not be able to line up the bolts. Do not waste your time! This fits a 2007-2011 Honda civic 1.8l. Do not buy if you have a 2012-2015 Honda civic 1.8l

2014 Civic, 1.8L. Compared to the OEM assembly, the bracket is slightly thicker and will not clear the water pump housing enough to rotate the mount in to position to be bolted up. After two wasted hours, I went and purchased a Honda replacement which fit perfect. Will be returning this item. May fit with modifications (as in, grinding) but it's not worth the hassle. This is a manufacturer issue, not an Advance issue.
