Rear ceramic pads for an Accord. Use the new retainer clips supplied; be sure to use a small amount of brake lube grease at sliding points. Grease was not included. I also needed to install new rotors and calipers this time. The previous set lasted about 45k All is quiet !

Pads were a direct drop-in replacement on my son's '10 Honda Civic Ex. Unfortunately, the included hardware didn't have the best fit. The spring clips that hold pull the pads away from the rotor worked fine but the shims were either a few thousands too thick or the tabs that wrap around the edge of the pads weren't formed correctly. I tried for 15min to install the pads but gave up and decided to use the factory shims. A little brake cleaner and a rag, and they cleaned up fine. They installed with now issues.

I put a set of these rear brake pads on my mom's 2003 Honda Accord back in 2015 and the tabs on the backing plate were about 1/2 mm to long on each end, causing the pads to barely fit into the track and not really move once in. I had to grind material off each side to shorten them a bit so they would fit and move smoothly. Fast forward 7 years and i had to replace them again and completely forgot that this problem had happened before, so i bought the same pads and (no surprise) ran into the same thing again this time. Aside from that, they seem to work fine, but fitment is one of the most important aspects of replacement pads, and these do not fit well in the OEM rear calipers on this car. Without grinding them down, they are almost unusable.

The parking brake cable pin doesn't fit on this one (and I don't know why the shoes don't come with a parking brake arm since its part of the brake shoes anyway ) but these brake shoes no good for my 09 civic ex sedan

This is for 07 Honda Accord - The shoes are good but for the handbrake lever to be put in the hole size has to be increased by 1 mm-1.5mm . If you don't have a drill bit you can use a smaller bit to increase the size of the hole for the handbrake lever pin to get in. The pin should move freely when put in. If you don't want to deal with this issue go with a different brand
