Not so much about the product as the people behind the store. Derrick and crew went above and beyond to get me to my plane. I'll never forget them for their excellence. I really believe it's the employees that make the brand , not the other way around!

I had a yellow top in my Subaru for the last 9 years until it finally began to not hold a full charge. So I got a new one. These are great batteries

I liked the Advance Auto Parts staff made the purchase transaction for me. However, this battery didn't fit in my 2011 Highlander SE AWD. Its base is bigger than the given area in my car. That was not good.

I purchased this battery for my optima hybrid and the price was good. After 2 years of driving, it has recently died on me twice within a month even with driving every other day since quarantine, and they said the battery looks good and can't replace it while it is still within the 3 year warranty period. The guy I spoke to said, I should have driven my vehicle at least 2-3 times a week for 45-50 minutes EACH time because it is hybrid. How are they gonna explain when I had my previous battery for 5 years when my work was only 1.5 miles away and not having to drive on the weekend? I drove 45 minutes on the freeway to get to that store expecting to have it replaced before my baby delivery in 1 and a half months to get ready, but he said there is nothing wrong with the battery although his battery reader says "low capacity" after driving 45 minutes (38 miles). We all know the car battery is a consumable stuff and you can't really wait until it completely dies - then how am I supposed to drive that far again after it is really really bad? He got very annoyed having to repeat that the battery is good without enough & logical explanation. I guess I wasted my two hours of round trip for this unpleasant conversation and I just have to find a new battery but not through this store.

Discovered that because the terminal positions on my car's battery are the reverse of most other batteries (mine is positive on left, negative on right) it's a lot harder to find a replacement battery for my 2011 Sonata Hybrid than I thought. Advance knew exactly which battery I needed and had it in stock. It installed fairly easy; tight quarters working in the battery recess in the trunk, but that's due to the vehicle design, not the battery. It has the venting tube opening on the left and already has the right side vent hole plugged; plus it comes with a plug if you needed to swap sides for the venting tube (N/A with this model car). This battery did not come with a venting tube; I re-used my old one. My car that was DOA yesterday (it still had the original battery after 8 years!) fired right up as though nothing had ever happened. I'm very pleased!

This was easy to install and looks exactly like the previous customer's review for his Hyundai Sonata Hybrid vehicle.
