    a necessity when preforming brake maintenance right. tho a bit pricy for such a small item, when they need replacing and aren't they can cause cost of repairs to become higher with the additional nee to replace caliber pins and even caliper brackets, even calipers and brake pads pre-maturely.

    Replace the boot (and pins) to keep the caliper floating properly. Old boot needs to be yanked out (used vice grips) and new boots pressed in (used appropriate sized socket and hammer). Be careful not to pinch the rubber boot.
