Good for the money and fit well. Says these are powder coated but if it is, the coating is way thin and scratches right off. I scuffed these down and primed them 3 times with a rust preventing primer and then followed that up with 3-4 coats of black caliper paint. Hopefully this will slow down the rust out process since they all rust out eventually (even GM) up here in the north!

Perfect replacement for rusted out original....just be aware that you have to pull the axles to replace these shields. No big deal if you know how to pull a C-clip axle but more than many people will want to get into.

The split means they can be installed without the removal of the axel. Fit perfectly on my 2001 Chevy Truck and made the rear end look new. I needed an 18mm wrench, as the bolts were inaccessible with a ratchet. Be sure to have chemical lock on hand for these bolts, and that is omitted in the directions. Finally, if painting the axel housing in the area of the brakes, use high temperature paint.
