I read some of the reviews and they went from one star to five stars. Most of the complaints were about the life span of the bulbs. This is the second set of H7 SilverStar Ultra that I have installed on my car. The first ones were installed in October of 2018 and the new ones were installed on January 21, 2021, that is a little over a two year life span. If you go to Sylvania's web site and read about the SilverStar Ultra you will see that they say the life span of the bulbs is about one year. If your blubs lasted about one year plus of minus a little I don't think you have a complaint. There are a lot of deer where I live and they definitely put out more light down the road and to the side of the road which is what I'm looking for because of the deer problem. My driving is about 60% day and 40% night driving so they do get a lot of use. I have a 2007 Mercedes Benz SLK350. When I went to the web site and put in my car I found that they had a video of how to install the bulbs. I think that if you put in the car information they will have a video on how to install the bulbs on your car. I don't know who the guy is that made the video of how to install the bulbs on my car but he was totally wrong. To get to my bulbs he shows that you have to remove the wheel and the fender liner, WRONG. If you are installing the left head light bulb and you turn the steering wheel all the way to right you do not have to take off the wheel to remove the fender liner and the same for replacing the right head light bulb except you would have to turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. He was correct on how to remove the fender liner. The worst thing he does is when he is reinstalling the wheel he stands on lug bolt wrench to tighten the lug bolts, that is 100% WRONG. No mater what car or truck you have if you look in the owners manual they will list a specific torque for the log bolts or nuts depending of what your car has. Not to do that can damage the wheel and be unsafe.

Replaced stock headlight bulbs in 2006 Volvo XC90 and one of the headlight adapters melted to the bulb. Replaced the adapter and got another bulb and it melted the replacement. Replaced the adapter and got genuine Volvo bulbs and no issue for a month. I don't think these bulbs pull the same power as stock bulbs.

I purchased these headlights 2/6/20. On 2/5/21 I noticed my drivers side headlight was out. I could not find the receipt. I went to Advanced Auto Parts and asked if they had a record of my purchase. They did not, so I looked under my profile on line and did not see my purchase. I just remembered today that I get an entries online purchases. Open the email to find that I purchased it 1 year a 2 days ago. It has a 1 year warranty. I don't recommend these headlights.
