Nice riding shock for a daily driver on a sports sedan. Appears to be well built, good bushings. Install is straight-forward, once you figure out Mazda's weird bracket system. First rear shock took about 3 dirty hours, the second rear shock about half of that. The KYB shock inserted into the Mazda top bracket with no difficulty. Going into the bracket at the knuckle though, took a little bit of hammering. It's a snug fit! (But that's a good thing.)

Replaced rear shocks on Mazda 6 that were totally worn out. Felt wheel vibration at 30 and 60 mph. Replaced with these shocks and smooth ride restored. Mazda upper shock mount is somewhat difficult to remove, must remove swing arm to access some of the upper mounting bolts, and shock should be held in fully compressed position for clearance to reinstall. Used several plastic zip ties strung together and looped around top mount and through bottom mount to hold fully compressed. Once top mounting bolts are in place, cut the zip ties and install the bottom bolt.

Only had them installed for a week, but they restored my cars handling performance and made it handle like new again!
