The gas cap seems like it is a good quality cap. The only reason I am taking a star off is that it did not come with the ring to attach it to the gas cap tether. I was able to take the ring off the old cap and squeeze it onto this one in order to continue to use the tether.

I can't believe there aren't any directions on or in the box about specifically how to operate this cap. Sometimes I couldn't get it to lock, sometimes I couldn't get it off. Couldn't even find a video online to show me how to work it. I got so frustrated, I went back to Advance for personalized instructions. Which are super simple... if you know what you're doing. TO LOCK: Turn key so it's parallel with the cap's handle. Remove key, put the cap on the fuel pipe, and twist clockwise till it clicks. TO UNLOCK: Turn key counterclockwise so it's perpendicular to handle. Remove key, twist the cap counterclockwise to remove.
