Housings of the bulbs are too large to fit the Civic with OEM halogen bulbs > projector design does not allow install.

I installed these in my daughters 2017 Chevy Sonic to replace the yellowish (and somewhat dim) halogen bulbs. They fit into the lamp socket just right, however the body of the heatsink was just a *little* to long for the cap which seats on the back of the access area to seat gently. Here's my DIY adjustment -- twist the cap back and forth a couple of time as if to seat it, but don't go beyond medium tension. Now remove the cap and you'll see a little line scored on the inside of the cap where the body of the heatsink is making contact with one of the protrusions inside the cap. These protrusions are shallow curved 'shoulders' all around the inside of the cap. Use a pocket knife to shave off some of that shoulder (less than 1/8" plastic to be removed) and the cap will seat gently without putting any force on the heatsink and/or lamp body.

Used these leds in my 2013 Chevy Impala LS headlight low beam. They fit in the housing and the dust covers went back on with no problem. I did remove the daytime running light fuses drl1 and drl2 in the fuse box so they would not be on all the time. They are a whiter light and can see farther down road. They seem to be slightly brighter than the halogen bulbs but not extreme bright to annoy other drivers.. No one has flashed me at night so they must not be blinding to other drivers. These are the exact same bulbs they sell in Canada as headlight bulbs. Just the US dot has not approved them yet.

I purchased a 2 pack of the Silverstar Ultra bulbs on 10/30/2021. They both both burned out within 1 week of each other, didn't even make it 6 months. I have uploaded my receipt for reference.

These were the first headlights I ever bought, they were recommended to me by the guy at the auto parts store because of their reliability. Boy was I disappointed. One of them burnt out in about 7 months... What I will say is that they were very bright and allowed me to drive safely and avoid countless animals during night time drives.

Do not buy this light. I have to use my running lights on my Jeep Grand Cherokee to help me see at night. The bright light offers hardly any difference.

I installed the bulb in my 2014 Impala and it was working fine at first, but by the time I drove home and got out of the car, it was not working... It has a one year warranty so hopefully when the next one comes in, it will work.
