  Description

  Dayco Molded Radiator and By-Pass Hose with knitted reinforcement and all synthetic EPDM rubber construction provides the high strength and resistance to oil, mud, salt, road debris, ozone, coolants, and temperature variations of -40 Degree F (-40 Degree C) to +257 Degree F (+125 Degree C) that are required for OEM hose replacements. The inner base tube is reinforced with knitted rayon for maximum strength and burst resistance for the life of the hose. In addition to meeting SAE J20R4, Class D-1 requirements, this hose is now designed to meet Type EC electro-chemical requirements as specified in SAE J1684; which prevents inner tube deterioration caused by the build up of static electric charges.

    I'm not sure if this is a generic or fitted part, but it said it was an exact fit for my 2006 Subaru Outback 2.5 Limited. It was close, but it was a tad long, which had it all up on the fan. I don't think the blade would have hit it, but it would've rubbed against it going down the road and worn the hose. I trimmed 1/2" off the engine side of the hose with a razor utility knife and it was good to go. No more leaks at temperature.
