The Sylvania H1 XtraVision Bulb is a very high quality bulb. It was very easy to install. I was impressed with the amount of light that it produced. I really could tell at night. The distance was amazing! I was able to see really well in the rain. I was very impressed! My pros are very easy installation and the amount of light. There are no cons for me.

had hoped these expensive bulbs would make a difference in brightness for our 2013 Hyundai Sonata, but did not at all. would return them if possible and spend less on other bulbs; not worth-what-paid

Maybe it's particular to 2012 Subaru Outbacks, but I go through a pair of these every year and I've tried every level of Sylvania lamps. 100% of all of them burned the tip off. Yes, I gloved up during installation like I was handling the Stanley Cup and was extremely delicate during the process. This light in particular causes a Subaru owner to remove the wheels, peel back the plastic wheel liner, and perform some interesting gynecological maneuvers to change it. Thanks Sylvania, I really enjoy this yearly experience. So fun.

Bought these for my 2014 Ford Focus. I had previously bought the SilverStar, and I was not impressed with their brightness and range. I put these in after returning those, and the color difference was not very large, but noticeable. However, my first night driving home from work with these lights was night and day! Literally! They were fantastically bright, they shine probably about 60 feet down the road, and signs light up from super far away. I drive on high speed backroads, so these are a great upgrade. I find that I don't even need my high beams anymore to see. They were tricky to install, but I believe that to be my car's fault. If you have issues installing these bulbs, try putting the bulb in the headlight assembly first, and then put the socket on. But anyways, these have great color and brightness, and if you look at the headlights at level, you can even see the blue tint. It's a shame they will only last 85 hours, but I think the trade-off for safety is worth it.

I don't drive at night very often, but they seem a little brighter. I don't know if they were necessarily that much better than the typical bulb.
