Excellent replacement, very quiet, and much more affordable than the shop would have charged me.

From Bristol TN
Blower motor was perfect replacement for OEM blower that died after 270k miles. Easy install and plugged right up with no mods needed. Had correct plug and works as well if not better than OEM. 10 minute install on 01 Civic.

I'm very disappointed with this product. If you look at the photo of the blower motor on the website it shows a "squirrel-cage" with the proper taper (or flange, if you prefer) at the top to fit in the corresponding opening in the blower housing. Since this is a somewhat unusual configuration that the photo accurately reflected AND since the website said it was a "direct fit" replacement I ordered one. I finally had the time today to install it. Well, the squirrel-cage was cracked and does not have any taper, and contacts the blower housing creating an ungodly noise. I thought, okay, I'll just swap the original squirrel-cage in place of the new one on the new motor (not all that easy to do). Problem. The new motor configuration is wider and the inside diameter of the squirrel-cage contacts the motor itself restricting free rotation. So now I have no blower motor at all in the car and a new "damaged" blower motor that doesn't fit (even though it, allegedly, is a "direct fit" part). Well Advance, what do I do now?
