MAKE SURE YOU PUMP THE PISTON A FEW TIMES TO GET THE AIR OUT BEFORE INSTALLING. MAKES IT EASIER TO TELL WHAT THE SETTINGS ARE. ONCE AIR OUT FROM SHIPPING IT DIAL CLICKS. IF YOU FORGET DON'T WORRY. AFTER A COUPLE OF MILES OF DRIVING YOU CAN FEEL THE CLICKS.

I bought these for my 2011 Sierra for towing a 5th wheel. They help maintain ride height when towing. Unloaded its about 1" higher ride height, not bad looking. The ride is smooth both loaded and unloaded. I used to have the air shocks but had trouble maintaining the pressure due to leaks. These I don't have to worry whether loaded or not.

Just installed about a week ago, on a 1.5" Leveled Dodge Ram 1500 on 33s, with Rancho's Quick LIft struts. These shocks ride so much nicer than the old factory shocks, and definitely better than the KYB shocks I installed on my other truck. Very pleased with Rancho's products. They don't hurt the wallet and the quality is great, I would definitely recommend these!

Being a clueless non mechanic I was surprised to learn that my Ram 2500 had a steering dampener shock. I just installed a Rancho mono tube on my truck this evening. The old one was fryed- pushed in with some resistance but stayed in the In position after releasing pressure. Like the 4 Rancho shocks I installed earlier the dampener made a huge difference. Thankful for you tube and Advanced Auto discounts for E- sales

have no use for the adjustable knob , why would you spend this kind of money on a heavy duty shock and set it to wuss? This company still makes the great big yellow heavy duty shocks for big trucks but not for pickups any longer. I have had a set of the big yellow magnums on my 64 F-100 for the past 25 years and they still work like brand new.

I realize that these shocks are popular and when I got them installed I see why. These shocks compared to the last ones I had on my 04' GMC Sierra are definitely a more comfortable ride quality. Since I've brought my truck 4 years ago it was the 1st time I had to change the rear shocks. Although when I brought the truck it already had 2" lift on it, with 2" shocks on the front and 1" shocks on the rear, that can have slight difference on the ride quality. Now the shocks on the rear 2" and I plan on replacing the front shocks with this brand. So far these shocks I've had on for 2 months now have been a good quality. If it helps anyone, I only use it to commute to work and pickup kids, 90% highway 70 mph, occasionally hauling loads, very rarely off road.

Lookup says fits 04 4wd ram 1500...impossible..this model truck has rack and pinion steering so no hookup of this stabilizer shock is mechanically possible..but I still buy my parts from you guys because Advance rocks! I just have to double check fitment on my parts sometimes..

Good price but shipping was a problem. Ordered both shock the same day and time got one on a Friday and the other on a Monday from two different states. If they would have told me this I would not have orders them. The shocks themselves were fine and fit was as oem.
