Picked the battery up at the store and assumed it was a new battery since I paid full price but when installing, I noticed that the negative terminal already had battery grease and crust on it, and then clearly looked as if it had been either used or refurbished. It also had a paper sticker slap to the side of it. Typical of a refurbished item.

Is this batter an AGM battery? Nowhere in the battery description or specifications does it refer to AGM but the first bullet point has AGM listed. This is important and should be listed on the top of the battery for charging purposes. Thanks

Bad batteries happen but the customer service was terrible. Wouldn't believe me it was a battery problem, kept saying alternator. Left me stranded next morning on my way to my mechanic. My mechanic took it to them, they took time to charge it and test it again.... yes, bad battery. That bad customer service cost me quite a few dollars and a lot of aggravation.

Lighter than the agm battery that I was replacing in my 535xi. Old battery was overheating to the point of it becoming a safety hazard. Since I was not sure if the problem was my alternator or a battery problem I decided to buy the least expensive replacement. It did cure the problem though!! We will see how long this one will last. Diehards used to be great products so I am hopeful this battery will serve me well. The service was phenomenal. Nice girl was pleasant, professional, and extremely helpful. Made the situation more palatable. Thank you young lady.

Easy to navigate the site to find the part you need, was a smooth purchase. Was disappointed that it wasn't clearly stipulated that for the free install it is only for one specific placement. For clarification, I have a vehicle that has the battery mounted in the trunk and not in the engine compartment under the hood. It was explained that it was policy that they couldn't accommodate the install. Despite that hiccup, they were friendly enough to assist by supervising me while I did it myself. Slight inconvenience also was the hour or so I had to take to return to the store for my core deposit refund which was explained that it was just how the system processes it.
