I purchased this Vacuum Brake Power Booster Online and Saved $10. I picked it up in the Store the next day. Once home I Read the Instructions that came with the Booster. I also read Instructions I Downloaded from an Automotive Website. The instructions that came with the Booster weren't all that great but they were Adequate. First I disconnected the Negative Battery Cable. I next removed Electrical Connectors, Nuts and Bolts of Air Cleaner, Throttle Body Hose, Vacuum Lines etc... I moved things out of the way without unhooking some of them (this was recommended in some of the instructions I read). The toughest part of the Removal/Install was removing the 4 nuts holding the Booster to the Firewall (under the Dashboard). They were tight and hard to get to. The second hardest part was actually getting the Booster out and the new booster back in. Seems like there were still things in the way. Had to do a lot of Twisting, Moving Up & Down, and Moving Side to Side until I eventually got it out and the new booster back in. This process took me around 5 hours including Picking Up the Booster, Reading Instructions and Bleeding the Brake System. An experienced Mechanic should be able to do this job in around 1.5 hours or less! I'm a Backyard (Driveway) Mechanic!
