    Product seems to be of good quality. I prefer a riveted shoe vs bonded. I hope they hold up especially up here in the north east frozen tundra.

    I bought these along with new rotors for my 02 Silverado 1500. When I installed them, I had to spread them a little to get onto the mechanism contact points and there was only a few thousands clearance between the shoe and rotor with the adjustment wheel turned to it's minimum position. The rotor WOULD turn freely with the brake off. After taking a test drive, the rear wheels were smoking, you could smell the brakes and the rotor was seized and had to be banged off the new shoes. I bought another set (different brand) and returned these. The distance between the two contact points on these was almost an 1/8" narrower than the replacement pair. These are NOT an exact fit for a 1500 Silverado.

    Bottom Line not recommended

    The shoes were WAY too tight. I had to use the lug nuts to get the hub on over the shoes because the fit was so tight. I am counting on the pads wearing down (or the inside of the drum). Until then, I will not travel fast or far. I can feel the brake dragging some. I assume this was due to the pad thickness but maybe the metal dimensions were slightly off.
