Everything Was and is great with the product I have had no problems my order was ready when I got there everything went smoothly and I am happy with my purchase. I needed it today I was able to walk in the store and pick it up not wait for it to be shipped from some other company all worked out great. Thank you.

I bought this Lift support as a replacement for the ones on the hatch of my Volkswagen Rabbit... the website said it was a direct fit replacement. I rate it three stars because I had to return it... it was not really a direct fit replacement.... the shaft was extended about an inch too long to make the connection. even opening the hatch as far as I could and pushing up nearly too hard, I could not compress this strut at all. I think if you could get it connected it would be awesome but there is no way to compress it, and I don't know why it was extended so far.... It would be cool if they sold it about half extended or maybe with the adjustment or set screw. The build quality is solid and it looks like it will be an awesome strut but it did not exactly fit the rabbit which I bought it for in which the website said it was a direct replacement for. Be sure to measure your Old strut and compare before you bring it home, or bring the old one in the store wtih you.
