Looks and sounds great! Bearing was going out in the original, so I replaced it with this one because it has a lifetime warranty. It is working perfect the few times I have used up to this review.

Bought this for my Jetta TDI, my original blower motor finally quit, but the car does have 552,000 miles, so I guess it earned it. New blower works great, OEM fit, balanced properly, hopefully it will last as long as the OEM one did.

I purchased this blower motor to replace a failed blower in an 06 Jetta TDI and it was DOA out of the box. If you do purchase this blower, do yourself a favor and test it before you spend the time to remove the old one and stick this one in. Luckily in the MK5 swapping a blower motor is pretty simple. If this had been like replacing a blower in a 2000 era Cadillac Deville I would have been livid with a DOA motor.

Bottom Line not recommended

If you're shopping for a blower motor due to no heat or AC blowing for a 2007 Audi A3 this model doesn't come with resistor nor do the male and female connections match up.
