This mount was a little tricky to install, but took my time and all turned out great! I replaced this mount and the passenger side one, engine is smoother when shifting now and while driving. Don't forget to look up discount codes to save a few bucks!

Lousy description This is not a transmission mount. This is an engine mount.

My engine was rolling and hitting the other mounts everytime I accelerated hard or downshifted. This fixed it, so I'm pleased with it. Straight forward to install and the price was right.

My original front engine mount was causing a terrible vibration when driving and clunking noises when shifting into drive or reverse. This replacement mount solved both issues and now the car is as smooth as when it was new. I performed the change myself and it installed with no issues. I would recommend purchasing.

Don't normally post reviews but I just have to on this part. This engine mount has a sensor made to it, the wire comes out of the left side of the mount. This mount is very hard to change out. After getting the mount in place and the top pivot bolt in (wire coming out of the left side of mount) I figured out the mount was in backward. The manufacturer had the wire coming out of the wrong side. If the wire comes out on the right side it is right next to the catalytic converter and will burn. I rerouted the wire and had to drill a small hole on the left side of the mount to snap in the plastic wire retainer. Also the connector on the engine wiring harness would not plug right in, I had to use a razor blade and and modify it so it would plug into the female plug on the engine mount sensor. Do know that this mount is made in China but for what it cost you would think it would fit without mods. I could have bought a similar mount online for half the cost of this one but I needed it right now. Would not buy again. Do yourself a favor and drop the coolant and remove the electric fans to make this job easier although it is very hard to purge the cooling system of air on the Nisssan 3.5. without the proper tool.

Very good part. Replaced an old worn out mount. Eliminated a bad vibration and now the engine is secure and smooth again.

The product does NOT have a place to re-install the factory sensor that goes underneath the mount. No check engine like will go on but I had to zip tie the sensor to a bracket so it wouldn't move around in the engine bay. It was very difficult to remove the mount and to re-install the new one so that is the reason why I just kept it the way it is. I save some money getting this product instead of the factory one but I wouldn't recommend purchasing this item if your really worried about not having the sensor functioning. This mount is used on most earlier model Nissan and Infiniti. If the product suppose to be a replacement part then it should be able to fully replace the factory part but surely it didn't since a key component was missing.

Purchased this to attempt to eliminate a "clunking" sound when accelerating/decelarating, which changing this part did not eliminate. The old one's bushing was all broken/cracked, so replacement was still worthwhile. Removal/replacement was a pain, due to it's location, but I got it done. You must remove battery, battery tray, and something that looks like a weight/vibration dampener thing mounted to the front rail, as well as the lower shroud, then work on the mount from the above/driver's side and from below. The bracket that mounts the engine mount to the block (4 bolts) must come off as well, or the mount will not come out. Busted knuckles and half a day later, it's done. The electrical connection for the sensor plugged up like factory and worked as intended, with no dinging as mentioned above.

I ordered this part online and had it installed by a local mechanic. After bringing it home the mount was buzzing for 3 seconds at a time when starting the car, when shutting the engine off and at other times when running. I took it back to the mechanic & he said the electronic portion was defective, so he unplugged it. It is not buzzing now, but I'm not 100% pleased.

This mount required significant filing of holes and weldments before it would fit onto a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. I recommend trying another brand to replace the front motor mount in order to save time.
