I am having a Honda 2008 Civic LX and had my starter replaced with this model. After replacing it ,Cranking and starting car, was soo good, as like a new vehicle for first few days. However after 3 weeks, started hearing some clicking noise intermittently while i crank. Although car is starting fine at the moment, i fear if this stops working or not.Labor for changing this was around $350 and hence replacing this starter is a costly business. I will update my review after 6 months if there is a provision to do.

No 2nd thoughts, part was replaced on 2009 Honda Civic. It was a perfect fit and resolved starter issues. So far car seems to be starting smoothly.

It fit fine and works but this starter has a large exposed positive terminal nut. The original Honda starter motor was fully insulated. Also this rebuilt motor did not have the cable mounting brackets that the original Honda motor had. Because of this I am only rating it as a 2 star.
