After finding out that I purchased some counterfeit HONDA/NGK spark plugs for my Honda Element, I ordered these from Advanced and couldn't be happier. I knew that Advanced would be a authorized dealer for genuine NGK spark plugs.

Mechanic told me to buy E3's specifically for this 2007 F150 because they do not break off, which is a problem with the 5.4L Triton engine. Saw a big difference in the way the engine runs after installation. Great price from Advance, too!

Figured I'd try these E3 plugs for my 3rd set in My F150 because it had developed a miss-fire. Installed they seemed fine at first but the miss-fire returned. Use my code reader to diagnose but it did not suggest plugs. but random misfires on 2 cylinders and other non related codes. After much trouble shooting and moving/replacing coils, not thinking it was new plugs,Took to a shop figuring this was beyond my knowledge. After they trouble shot, they removed 2 E3 plugs which were completely burnt up! Didn't want to pay them to replace the rest so I brought it home and expect to replace all with something else soon. Complete JUNK for the F150!

I have had the Autolite and Motorcraft plugs in my 2004 5.4L and they both have broke off while trying to replace. Because the Champion plugs are one piece it's not going to be an issue of busting in two. I also use a layer of anti-sieze on the threads when reinstalling. Make sure to torque to specs so you don't over tighten. My pickup runs fine with these plugs and I will continue to use them. The cost of the plug is cheaper than taking truck to a garage to remove broken plug from your cylinder.

I have had motorcraft and autolite plugs in the 5.4 and they both broke off in head when removing. I even soaked them for two days turning slightly and had to rent a tool to get them out. The champions won't last as long and don't run as smooth but are a breeze to remove. They are worth it instead of spending two days removing broken plugs. And yes even the new motorcraft and autolite plugs still break because they are still a two piece plug that's glued together.... Yes, Glued together.

Was advised by my mechanic to purchase these plugs. He installed. Original plugs are known to break. 6 out of 8 broke. Well worth what I paid my mechanic. These plugs fixed my spitting and sputtering when going uphill.

The E3 plugs are providing a improvement with power and less fuel consumption. The warranty is probably the best around. Using an Advance Auto online coupon made the price unbeatable from everyone else online and from any brick and mortar.

Two piece ford spark plugs are problematic . I bought autolite platinums because of the price. But will buy Champion one piece plugs next time. These plugs are coated with nickle to help with the corrosion of lower plug.
