05 Town and Country replacement is easy -squeeze 2 tabs on glove box and fold down -its right in front of you -2 screws, 2 plugs. *Operate on all speeds for a while to dissipate smell from the new unit heating up (low speed is most likely the hottest). If the smell continues after many days or hours of running it is most likely a blower motor with too much resistance.

'04 Town and Country just stopped blowing air of any kind or speed from the front blower vents. For the price and availability took a chance and turned out to be this resistor as the cause. Took about as long to get out of the box as it did to replace! Note this part is much different internally than the original, but works fine!

This was the correct part for a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. The first module I purchased, which was supposed to be correct according to several auto parts retailers, did not fit at all. That's probably not Advanced fault but i would have given five stars if I hadn't have put so much work into before finding it was not correct.

I got one of these and it didn't work -- the fan blew all the time, I could literally not turn it off. Got a 2nd one and it works great, so 50/50 on working/not working. The original was French (Valeo), this replacement is Chinese. Does not appear that they do 100% quality control testing on these things. So basically, get one if you need it, but be prepared to return it and get another if it's defective.

I started out my heater fan was inop. I tried domain resistor and I only had high speed so I tried a second one seem thing Up graded to a BWD resister and everything works like it should.

I have replaced four of these now. Drop the glovebox and it's right there. Two 8mm screws and it's in and out. NOW - the REASON these things fail is because the blower motors get tired and pull too much juice. So if you only replace this resistor, you'll be doing it again. Do yourself a favor and REPLACE THE BLOWER MOTOR and then your replacement resistor will never fail again. YOU MUST REPLACE THE BLOWER MOTOR TOO. I'm honestly surprised the manufacturer doesn't require this. Now... as to this part, after I REPLACED THE BLOWER MOTOR :), the first one I got was intermittent; it would only vary between 40-60% blower speed. So I returned it and the second one works perfectly. So a not-so-great review on this part. I installed two BWD resistors in other vans and they work fine.

Little over a year old and the resistor has failed again. Original one lasted way longer than that. I paid over a hundred bucks for it. You would think you are paying for quality. Cause if you search you can find it a lot cheaper and I am sure its probably the same one.

this product does not work. once installed works for 2 secs then shuts off. you're better off going to the dealer and buying the factory part which belive it or not is cheaper only [$] and actually works.plus its a factory part.dont waste time and money ordering this.
