No problems with this belt. It seems to be well made, I have no noise coming from it. I've never used a Dayco belt before so this was new to me. Still a fresh install so will let time ultimately judge which is why only put a 4 star. I usually use the OEM or Goodyear though, but they were not available at the time.

Bought this to replace belt on my 2005 Silverado. When I tried to put it on it would not fit - too short. Having done this many times I just felt something was wrong after struggling to to get it on. Finally compared the part number on the belt against the number on the package. Turns out I had the right package but wrong belt. Returned it for the correct belt with no problem and all is well.

Former GM Mechanic here.. I've done my share of serp belts while at the dealer and in my driveway over the years. My 2004 trucks came with a 105Amp/CS130(D) alternator. There was an option for the 145Amp/AD244 that is bigger and more "heavy duty". As far as I know and have heard in some utube videos, the both will bolt right in and interchange. Only thing to change is the belt size, the bigger alternator has bigger pulley and need a little bigger belt. Seen some comments about using 935K6 on 5.3's in Corvettes etc and it worked there.. Suck-ee part about peoples reviews, at least in my browser, I don't see the details of the vehicle. Reivews like "works as need" or "great belt" or "fit great" doesn't really help if the application isn't clear. One can only rely on AA showing the right reviews, for the right application. Seen someone ask a question about 145 swap and AA just said to call for more assistance. For me the 930K6 just didn't work out. My experience says that 930K6 is wrong and you can't miss with a 935K6 Found and an interchange lookup for belts years ago.. It's universal and not vehicle specific... it's odd.. 6PK2360--5060930--K060930--25-K060930--4060930--923K6--930K6-- My 04 Silverado w/105 6PK2375--5060935--K060935--25-K060935--4060935--930K6--935K6-- MY 04 Silverado w/145 There is an overlap in my conversion that I found.. 930K6 shows can work for both 105 and 145. My test says 930K6 will never go on for my application. IMHO, using a 935K6 should always work! Good luck.

The first requirement is the part fits and it did, now it will take at least a year before you can have a feel of the parts durability.

new Belts are extremely tight. when putting a new one on you must have a longer tool for better leverage.

Standard replacement part. Installation a bit time consuming due to its location. No difficulties with the part itself.
