because it was shorter than the original belt , it took me a long time to stretch and get it on the pulleys

This part number does not fit in my 2002 Miata like the description says. #5040347 does not fit! Went to another store to buy part # 4040347 and it worked perfectly. Advance auto is only one number off but it means a lot. Maybe advance auto needs to look into this wrong part number! I wasted 3 hours trying to get this on. Very frustrating.

Good Part. Nothing, absolutely nothing against Advance Auto Parts. But to change this belt on a 2006 Toyota Highlander 2.4L engine??? Watch the YouTube video and raise the engine 3 inches. Yes, I'm serious. Tried it first without raising the engine. 10 busted knuckles later... Raised the engine... Raising the engine was a piece of cake (remove tire, remove 3-17mm bolts). Getting the belt over the water pump still wasn't easy, but at least doable.

Maybe it works for some vehicles, but this is definitely not an exact fit for a 1999 Mazda Protege. Have the tension all the way out of the generator and I can barely NOT get the belt to fit on. Piece of junk right here. Stop lying to people.

The belt was great. Wish it could have been 10mm longer to make it easy to install in this application, which was a pain.

06 Camry - may work good in cold weather but in hot weather it stretches. I have no faith in it not failing so I will be purchasing a better belt before it does.

Ok, so i will admit this was a very tight and difficult belt to get on. One of the more difficult belts i have done. Once i figured i would not be able to get it on my own i had to shout out to my ol' lady to help me. She held down the tensioner and i had the belt all routed up except for the water pump pulley, which is the last pulley you will want to slip the belt on to. I had the car slightly jacked up and was laying underneath the car. With her holding down the tensioner i was able to route the belt under the water pump pulley and had to push up and to the side with a lot of my force to slip the last part of the belt onto the water pump pulley. It was on, it's probably not impossible alone... but it will be much easier with another person to help out holding tension while the other lays under the car to route the belt onto the water pump pulley. My particular car was 2005 Camry LE 2.4l. Also before i forget, i loosened up the upper alternator bolt and removed the lower alternator bolt to get me a little more room/slack to help get the belt on. After the belt was on i was able to line the lower bolt back up by holding down the tensioner and tightening back up both the alternator bolts.
