Im not sure why the other two reviews were negative. This is clearly a lock cyclinder for a GM vats key.It comes with two blanks because you have to have a new key cut that has the correct resistor in it (chip). You take your old key to a locksmith he has a device which will tell you what vats key you have he cuts a new key with the blanks you give him.You can also tell which key you have by using a meter setting it at ohms and take the probes and put them on both sides of the key take that reading and using the chart that comes with the lock you can tell what number key you have.Lock cyclinder comes out of column easy enough turn key all the forward and insert small awl into hole in column and pull lock out.use some grease on end of lock to put back in.You may have to relearn security system ,you can you tube this its easy. Mine did note have to be relearned. One note if your key will not turn back this is probably not the problem there is a shifter interlock when you park that sometimes does not work.To get the key turned back there is a small hole in the bottom cover (you may have to pop off a small cover piece for this hole) for the steering column cover insert a screwdriver into this hole press the metal plunger and turn the key back at the same time this will release the key.

Avoid at all costs if your car has a chip (VAT) key. Does not work with VAT keys. Went through three keys and had my car stuck at a dealership for 3 days trying to get the lock to work. Get the DElco, unless you just like playing with your steering column.
