Be careful when ordering, there were three different sensors listed with the only notable difference being the electrical connector

read the description. bought it. got it home and opened it and found out you to wire the connector. says you dont need and tools. wrong! you need wire strippers. have to wire it to the config of the old one. it isnt plug and play. i know bosch makes good stuff but this angered me off. it should tell you assembly required.

I bought a universal fit oxygen sensor for my '99 vette. You have to cut it to length to match the original A/C factory one but, the connector block is really nice. The car runs great again now that it has a new oxygen sensor in it. I would think that if you are not comfortable with splicing wires, then buy the exact length factory Bosch replacement.

Replaced my upstream sensor on a '99 Accord. THOUGHT it would be so simple I could borrow the socket and do it in the parking lot. While the VIDEO shows a sensor with a plug, this one has 4 bare wires and requires much more time, thought, and tools. And, on the issue of tools, the website specifically said that this socket was available for loan; the 2 people in the store looked at me blankly. I would have "purchased" the kit to return if that option had been given. I would have needed the deep well socket to avoid removing the head shield; thankfully the little rusted bolts came out. Wires for my setup were blue to white, green to white, and either black to black. Definitely make sure the included directions work for your setup before removing (and destroying) the old one.

I purchased this OEM brand O2 sensor for my 2007 Suburban and it is the downstream sensor. After opening the box, I found that that the sensor doesn't come with a plug but just bare wires with four wire crimp splices and heat shrink sleeve. Had I known this, I wouldn't have purchased this sensor. Later I found out that it is a universal type sensor so that is why it doesn't come with a plug to plug into the vehicle's wire harness. Then I noticed on Advance Auto Parts website, the "Universal" word in the sensor type. In this case, Universal, means that it won't have a plug and you'll have to splice wires together at installation, so buyer beware. I also purchased the Denso upstream sensor from Advance Auto Parts and it is a Direct Fit type which means that it has the plug and requires no wire splicing. I don't understand why Advance Auto Parts doesn't sell the downsteam sensor with the plug on the wires.
