I bought this, for my 06 Scion tc,as a replacement for my stock oem one,as the internal seals got worn out due to aftermarket clutch, and started leaking inside the cylinder, sticky clutch,so bought this,it was a pita to install, only cause, its in a very tight spot on my car,but overall, not a bad item, for a direct replacement, this is only a temp replacement as i rebuild my stock one,to oem specs...

DO NOT BUY THIS PART FOR YOUR SOLARA / CAMRY / SCION TC The first one I bought only lasted 3 months and then I had a warranty replacement and that one only lasted a month and a half. They both started leaking fluid where rod goes into the boot.

Bought this and the clutch slave cylinder as the first step in troubleshooting shifting problems. Finally determined the clutch needed to be replaced. After having the clutch replaced, we drove the car 5 or 6 times and then one day my sone pushed in the clutch pedal to start the car and it stayed on the floor. He was able to pump it up enough to get it home. We tried bleeding the system again and while doing so I noticed fluid pushing back up into the reservoir. I had held onto the old master cylinder and decided to put it back on. When we removed this master cylinder, it came off the firewall in pieces. The old one is working beautifully. Glad I saved it!
