These Moog Tie Rod ends, left and right are better than OEM! The OEM doesn't have a grease fitting, these do! That's one reason the OEM went bad and I had to replace with these Moogs. After you back off the nut on the rod, measure the distance from the nut to the center pin. Use this measurement on the new "Moog" part and also count the number of turns it takes to remove it. Sometimes parts vary slightly in length and the measurement proves more accurate than counting turns... The nut on the rod is a 21mm. Most casual mechanics don't have this wrench, I found one at a Pawn Shop. You could use a pipe wrench instead. It's always a good idea afterwards to have the front end aligned, it doesn't cost that much compared to replacing tires sooner than later!

The "locking nuts" are not locking , u will have to tighten your tie rod ends every 200 miles . The nuts given with the product are not even the correct size .
