Excellent part and a great value at this price point. When I opened the box I was surprised and pleased to see a sticker labeled "Made in USA". This IAC valve was an exact match for my 2000 Mazda MPV and took about 10 minutes to install. In my vehicle, the IAC position made the bottom screw a little bit of a challenge. I found a deep well 10MM socket did the trick well. This socket was a 1/4 size, which allowed me to use my smallest ratchet, which worked well with the tight space I worked within. Be aware that this part does not include a new gasket. Not really a problem. I just left my old 13 year old gasket in place and it works just fine. If you feel better about using a new gasket they can be bought seperately for under $2. Unlike a water pump, you do not need to apply anything to this gasket. I found it easier to unscrew the unit first before disconnecting the electrical socket. Be sure to disconnect the negative lead on your battery before beginning. I just installed the same day I am writing this review, so I can't comment on long term performance, but I have every confidence this will be the last time I replace this part. I replaced my part at approximately 111K miles. I know some people spray cleaner into their old one to get more life out of it. I just felt that at the price of this one, especially with a discount, made it a no brainer just to replace. I also felt good about the part after seeing other factory installed parts with the "Hitachi" name in my vehicle. Advance Auto was super quick with shipping on this item. I expected it to take up to a week and I had it in 2 days.
