Swapping the reservoir was relatively easy and a significant cost savings. Although a little messier than just replacing with a complete new pump, it is well worth it. The only thing is I wish they would include a new seal for the pressure line. Fortunately, I had replaced the line before the pump to try and stop my leak but it was the case seal that was leaking.

Well the first one lasted a week, the second one so far so good. Going on two months with it. I was very disappointed that the first pump only lasted a week. They did warranty it no problem, and so far the second pump seems to be doing fine. Wasn't real happy having to do all the work twice, but was happy with there good customer service, and warranty support.

Fit my 99 k1500, but it leaks power steering fluid. I think I'll try one with the evo bypass next time.

First pump had bad bearing right out of the box. Second pump was noisy and always sounded like it was straining. Went out after 4 months. Don't waste your money. Might as well buy a reman. For half the price.

For a brand new pump i give it one star just because it looks all pretty out of the box. Pump whines pretty dang loud after giving a few rpm's (yes, even after properly bleeding system!). Quick test drive of 10 miles now no power steering at idle (yes, reservoir is full). And also yes, i do have a brand new in-line filter and system was properly pushed with fresh fluid. We're no dyi, Powell's Garage doesn't recommend at all!

Was a really noisy pump from the day I installed it. Only lasted 3 moths until it started leaking power steering fluid profusely. I kept adding oil until it siezed on the freeway one day leaving me stranded. I got a power steering pump from a nearby junk yard and that is working much better than this one has!

Was not bad the first few days but after a few weeks its just unbearable. I was hoping it would go away. I thought maybe it just had some air trapped in it but after about 2 weeks or more it just continues to get louder.
