These spark plugs are a good compromise between price and quality. There were the cheapest double platinum I could find. The box states they are pre-gapped. I checked and they were pre-gapped at .055in. My vehicle calls for a .060in gap, so I gapped them by bending the top electrode. Don't use anti-seize, unless the plugs are going into an aluminum head.

Have not always had the best of luck with this brand, but these plugs are expensive, so decided to give them another chance, being that they were cheaper in price. They looked great. Nice finish. Gaps looked good, as they were well protected in their boxes. Quality appears to be way better than the rusted(very poor finish) AC Delco plugs that I pulled out. Thanks for reading and hope this helps you make a good decision. Good luck!

I was recommended to use these Stark Plugs by a Certified Auto Mechanic. I explained to him, about a month ago I notice my car getting very bad gas mileage, he said these plugs should make it running better on gas. These plugs were wrong for my car Chevy. They had my car back-firing, stalling and hard to start. I knew then I was giving very bad advise. Some time deeper research is needed when you don't understand about what is giving you problem.

Put them in my town car around 70k miles. At 110k the car started to backfire occasionally and by 115k it was struggling to make it up a small incline. Note that I use ethanol free gas only. I'm going to give the AC Delco platinums a try because they're the only other plug manufactures in the US.
