The battery was faulty and the mechanic (that I eventually had to call to tow my car) said that a cell was bad.

This was EXACTLY what I needed for my 2008 Lincoln MKX. I noticed some 'hard starting' on recent cold days, and as long as I drove the car every day, no problems. With winter storms approaching, and lower-than-normal temperatures, I decided to invest in a new battery. My local Advance Auto had the battery in stock and happily scheduled an installation for me. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes after making an appointment, and even with extremely cold days I've had NO problems starting my vehicle. Definitely recommended!
