Your car will always run better on equipment it was designed for, especially when it comes to ignition equipment and sensors. Getting "better" plugs is pointless on a stock engine and tune. You might think it performs "better", but it doesn't. You just needed new plugs.

Plugs are good quality NGK, but had to open gap to 0.060" from pre-set 0.40" that is for later model GM 4.8 L V-8. My engine is 1999 that requires 0.060". If I had to do over, I would get AC Delco OEM plugs with pre-set gap at 0.060", IF available. Pre-set is better if you can get it when gap difference is large.

Buy them if you want, BUT, I would stick with OEM AC Delco spark plugs, for my 2005 Chevy Silverado 5.3L T, I used these plugs for less than 3 minutes and up popped a CHECK Engine Light. I corrected the issue by using OEM AC Delco spark plugs

These were returned because before installation is wise to check the resistance, resistance recommended is 500-5000 if below or above they need replacing , 1 tested @ 6700, 4 tested @ 8700 and 1 tested @ 10,000. Way too high so returned them. Those reading would cause fluctuations in engine running. I told them why I returned them but she put customer didn't want/changed mind when selecting reason for returning.

This vehicle is using CNG and the underneath side of the CAP was totally covered in a white electrolysis, Rotor and plug tips, so I had to find out how the moisture was coming up through the distributor and making the problem in the cap, but these fixed half of the problem, and I fixed the moisture problem//
