TA/C accumulator was the incorrect part which caused damage to my suction hose, from the compressor the accumulator. I still have the incorrect part, but do feel like facing the hassle of returning it without the receipt of purchase. The mounting point for the suction was rotated 90 Degrees counter clockwise which caused a kink and subsequent failure of the suction hose.

works fine ,easy fix

Overall this acdelco reciver/dryer installed without any problems or fitment issues. I put the a/c system in a vacuum for a half an hour the I let it sit for another half an hour while I reinstall the dash in my 2001 GMC sierra 1500 w/ 5.3. I then pumped down the system to eliminate any air pockets/moisture left in the system. The system held a vacuum for one hour so I'm pretty sure there are no leaks in the system. I replaced the heater core in my truck and need a new dryer with a fresh desiccant to keep the moisture out of the a/c system. The A/C is just as frigid as it was before. So the part worked as designed.
