Bought for a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500, when the original rusted through and broke. The strap does not fit the best. Appears that the bends are not quite right to fit the tank. I needed to get a strap on the tank, so I got it to work by using a longer bolt and tightening it up. There is still about a 1/2" to 3/4" gap between the strap and the truck frame as I was concerned about over-tightening the bolt and cracking the plastic tank. There is probably a better fitting strap out there, but it will work in a pinch if you use a longer bolt.

It is noticeably 1/2" shorter than chevy original. Thinner steel. Could make them work if I had to but since I have a little time I will return to store and order OEM.
