This pump was a direct replacment with the original. However, I couldn't get the pulley off, even with the free rental from the store. I choose to just buy a new pulley and install. Installing the new pulley was almost as impossible as it was to remove the old pulley. I stripped the installation bolt supplied with the pump and two more before finally getting the pulley fully seated. My recommendation....Buy a pump with the pulley already installed, the job will be much simpler.
