Chevy 2.8 requires o-ring part number 35614 that goes on the flange of this thermostat in order to seat properly. failure to install o-ring will result in engine taking several hours to warm up / no heat. Every parts guy i talked to said there isn't one and its not shown in the system but it is a real thing.
