Worked but only has two washers for the outside of the rubber cushions. Keep the original washers for the capture of the cushions on the inside.

It was just as described. However, the instructions need to be adjusted. Says to set against tie rod. That is too far to that side by about an inch, no big deal. Just check everything twice. Comes with two (2) different sized U-bolts for different sized link rods. There were no pal-nuts as said in the directions, I double nutted the U-bolts and the nuts on the ends of the stabilizer. Also came with a very large bolt and nut with no explanation.????? Took me 1-1/2 hour including sweeping the floor after (I'm 61 and a little slow). Did it on the hangar floor with a floor jack and stands. Truck only needs tires off the floor. Hardest part was the drilling for a mount bolt. I've never had a vehicle with a Stabilizer before and I am trying to make this truck drive and handle like a nice car for when my wife drives it. The stabilizer makes the road buzz go away and you feel very little rough-road feedback. I would do it again. I ordered on-line, the price was right and Advance seems to always have a discount. YMMV. Enjoy.

I had been experiencing a "bounce" in the truck after hitting some bumps at speed.. it felt like a rear tire suddenly went off balance. After replacing the shocks, finding some loose steering parts, there was no improvement. This damper was the fix, even though the steering wasn't what was vibrating during the "problem" - an old and worn steering damper was at fault. Once getting the old one off, this went in very easily, and best of all it solved the vibration problem. So I'm happy now that I can now drive with confidence and no worrisome vibrations in the truck.

As everyone before has said, the bolt is too short. Save yourself time and aggravation and buy a 1" longer bolt (the narrower of the two included). you would think they would include the correct hardware!

The hardware kit that is included will work on Gm applications but did not work on my jeep. the jeep uses a long 3/8-16 stud on the drag link end of damper but hardware kit has a 1/2-13 and a 1/2-20 bolt in the kit.i had to find the right size and length of bolt from my stock. the steering damper itself works great and is good Quality.
